HOPE, a national charity based in Rugby, has released the book 40 Stories of Hope. It is a collection of remarkable testimonies from prisoners, ex-prisoners and prison chaplains who speak powerfully about life-changing encounters with Jesus.

As well as telling stories of how Jesus changes lives, 40 Stories of Hope includes 40 Bible readings and prayers making it ideal for individual or group use in the weeks leading up to Easter 2018. Compiled by Catherine Butcher, the foreword is by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and the book has been chosen as the 2018 Lent book by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
