NEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
Christ the Redeemer International School is a new Christian independent day school in the heart of Rugby, for 5-18 year olds. By the grace of God, the school will open full-time in January 2010.

VISION
Our vision is to help parents in the education of their children within a bible-based, Christ-centred curriculum.

CURRICULUM
The curriculum we use is from ‘Accelerated Christian Education’ (ACE), a programme of individualised, non-graded learning. It is designed to allow students to work at their own level of achievement, which will vary from subject to subject and student to student.

BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES AND A GOD-CENTRED VIEW OF THE WORLD
As a learning community we aim to provide education that is consistent with the teaching and values of the Christian home and church - where Jesus Christ is honoured as Creator, Saviour and Lord of every part of life.

CHARACTER TRAITS
We take the Bible seriously from Genesis to Revelation and welcome the work of the Holy Spirit in helping each of us to develop the character traits of Jesus in our own and students lives.  We want each child to know their worth as an individual and to achieve in all activities at the level of his or her own ability.

ACCREDITATION & QUALIFICATIONS
One great advantage of using the ACE curriculum is that the student can gain a qualification which is widely recognised by Universities and Colleges in the UK and abroad. It has an entry in the UCAS handbook.

The International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE) exists to provide Christian qualifications at a high standard for pupils studying on the ACE programme throughout the world.
It was launched in September 2004 to replace the National Christian Schools’ Certificate (NCSC) and offers an alternative system of qualifications for students using the ACE curriculum.

OPEN DAY
The school (still under construction) will hold an informal open day on Saturday 19th December from 10am - 4pm. Please drop in. We will answer your questions and you will have the opportunity to see how this new school will work.
