17.1.5.1   Martin said that a number of churches in the Deanery had recently had lead stolen from their roofs, the last two being Wolston and Brownsover, the latter in the last few hours. Wolston had recently fitted roof alarms to prevent further theft and Helen Simmons had details if anyone was interested. (PMC Roger will circulate details to all churches).
17.1.5.2   Martin mentioned that the Bishop is visiting the Deanery on Wednesday 5 October, meeting the clergy, seeing a non church activity and then there would be a Deanery evening to which all are invited at Brownsover at 7.30pm.

17.1.6 Deanery Priorities – building on our Deanery Day

17.1.6.1 Mission Team
Mark Beach advised that the Bishop was coming to Rugby for a week from 3 March 2012. A number of ideas had been put forward and he asked everyone to think of ideas from their own Benifices; it was down to the deanery to ensure the visit took place and to each parish to think of things the Bishop could come to in their areas. The Synod unanimously agreed to support the mission.  Mark announced he was holding a meeting on 8 June at The Rectory in Church Street to which all were invited.
Martin re-iterated that the reps should take this back to their own Churches to organise things so that the Mission did happen.                                                                                                                         ACTION ALL
